Diana is a contemporary mixed media artist living and working in the heart of Chemainus just steps off Maple Lane. She has been collecting and working with found fabrics, both bold and subtle, shaping them into images on her canvas and painting with acrylics. Diana’s interest lies in expressing and celebrating the human condition and our relationships with other species. The fabrics both inspire and expand Diana’s palette, taking her to new places; a magical collaboration with unknown fabric designers, pushing boundaries and discovering new worlds. Diana’s method of using liquid plastic with fabric allows her to move seamlessly from fabric to painted surface, blurring the line between the two.
