"Embracing a daily practice, I am connecting to a greater spiritual space within nature. After visiting Provence, I have searched for inner and outer flow (Csíkszentmihályi). My daily walking, looking, observing, I am sensing the Cowichan Estuary: the flora, fauna, grasses and skies. This is my source and inspiration for my art. Sometimes I reflect and wonder how Vincent would have observed the trees and the grasses here? Then I asked myself how my work connects me to landscape that I want to share. U conclude that my work is vibrant, lyrical, colorful and expressive, connected to nature."
